Henry had four baby teeth pulled on Monday to prepare for his braces in January. Although, this was my fourth time taking one of my boys in for pulling (Chandler has had 12 teeth pulled), it was still hard on me. Henry did great. He actually did it with only novocaine, no laughing gas. Although at one point the dentist did make him laugh, then snort, which made him laugh more.

What a great before and after photo - al fresh and frisky to a subdued half smile. Chandler has had a lot of teeth pulled! Did he have extra teeth? Henry was very brave - novacaine only. Were the teeth ready to come out or did the dentist have to work at getting some out?
No extra teeth for Chandler but never lost them on his own, so between issues with new ones coming in and braces, they needed to be pulled.
Two were easy, and the those two not so much...almost a full root!
Yes, Henry will get them in January or when the adult ones drop. He has a bad cross bite and crowding. I asked the ortho about the expander, I was curious why he wasn't using it on Henry's crowding. He stopped using them about 10 years ago! I was very surprised since it seems the popular method in AZ.
