I was so excited to use my new bread slicer for the first time. I couldn't imagine not slicing a straight piece of bread but if there is a way to screw it up, I will find it.
You may not be able to notice in the pictures but the slice closest to the back board is off!
I guess I need to pay better attention to my lines.

I doubt I'll use it that much either. We are more of the communion style eaters of the homemade bread. But it does give a better appreciation for the term, "The next best thing since sliced bread."
I have never seen a slicer like this. Does the bread have to have a firm crust to slice? I always have crooked bread. It does give appreciation to "...slice bread."
