Please watch this video and comment on what you see when looking at the candidates. For this posting you need only watch the first 50 seconds, although out of respect, I watched all of it.

Did you read the linked blog? I'll comment more on that another time. I want to leave it open for others to comment.
I am actually very content in my choice this election. For the first time in many elections, I more comfortable with who I am voting for, instead of who I am voting against.
Are we so rigid in our society that there is flower memorial protocol? All I can say is when every gesture is dissected to this degree remember that the next time you are mad at another driver! Though I watched further and Mccain seemed more connected to the 1st responders than Obama and Bloomburg. Perhaps it is his first hand experience of adversity and sacrifice. Not to discount Obama but Mccain seemed to draw the people in.
Originally I wasn’t posting to dissect the event. The clip showed during the evening news, with the headline “Candidates come together for 9/11”, I looked up to see the footage and watch them placing the flowers. I was taken aback by Obama’s flicking of the flower. I found it indifferent, which surprised me. I have a lot of respect for Obama as a candidate and human being. He would have my vote, if McCain wasn’t running. My point in those comments…this isn’t a political attack, just a human nature observance. I was surprised by the action and wondered if he had considered what he was doing, or how others viewed the action. If it was my mother’s memorial, the lack of emotion would be hurtful. If I was invited to such a memorial, I would put my heart into my actions, or I’d like to think I would.
While searching the internet for the video clip, I came across the video comments, obviously I wasn’t the only one who noticed. One of the comments points out Obama not shaking hands with two of the original four greeters. Again, probably not intentionally but imagine how those two people feel. He walked around Bloomberg and didn’t look back.
We can’t rehearse everything in life; we can take a moment to put our hearts and minds into how we are reacting.
