I purchased this stool at a garage sale for $2.50. Both my grandmothers had similar ones in their kitchens when I was a kid. I just loved sitting on it while helping in the kitchen, or maybe staying out of the way! I can totally picture them sitting on in making a list, talking on the phone, or mixing a batch of cookies.
I refurbished this stool for my kitchen. It should help my back during those many hours of peeling, coring, slicing, etc.
